New Strategic Plan Launched – Ruah updates and expands it’s services

Today marks the publication of Ruah’s Strategic Plan (2026-2029) – a clear and ambitious path forward for our organisation.

This strategy, developed in collaboration with our service leads, managers and other staff, reinforces what Ruah has always believed – that our people are our most valuable resource, and that supporting them in their work is the best way to assist our clients and the community.

The 2026-2029 Strategic plan has four key components that reflect our mission, values and purpose at Ruah as we look to the future:

  1. Connected, Comprehensive Care: We deliver what every client deserves – the right care, at the right place, at the right time.
  2. One Strong, Inclusive Organisation: We invest in a diverse and talented workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
  3. Influence for Impact: We use a clear and effective evidence base to advocate with intention and impact – raising the voice of those whose needs the system has yet to meet.
  4. Financial Strength and Autonomy: We build the financial resilience and independence to make, strategic decisions in the long term.

This new strategy will sustain our ability to grow and expand our services in the future, as well as build on our existing strengths – our experience in the sector, our diverse and talented staff, our industry standard systems and practices and our resilience.

Our last four years of service saw us rapidly expand our services, and we believe this strategic plan will continue that into the future. Thank you to everyone at Ruah who helped shape this plan – we look forward to bringing it to life together.
