What is the Midwest Family Service?
The Midwest Family Service is a healing and recovery service for women and their children under 18 affected by family domestic and sexual violence (FDSV).
Who is the Service for?
The Midwest Family Service is for women (anyone who identifies as a woman) affected by FDSV who:
- Are currently safe and not in immediate danger
- Do not require emergency accommodation
- Is aged 18 years or older
- Are mothers of children under 17 years or those without children.

The Midwest Family Service offers a safe space where your children can heal and recover, with specialised support to address their unique needs.

- Dedicated Support Staff
- Counselling for women and their children
- Legal support
- Alcohol and other drug support
- Employment education and training support
- Healing and recovery programs
- Financial counselling
