{"id":1867,"date":"2021-10-14T09:13:17","date_gmt":"2021-10-14T01:13:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ruah.org.au\/?p=1867"},"modified":"2021-10-14T09:13:17","modified_gmt":"2021-10-14T01:13:17","slug":"mental-health-services-get-accreditation-tick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ruah.org.au\/news\/mental-health-services-get-accreditation-tick\/","title":{"rendered":"Mental health services get accreditation tick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ruah Community Services has been awarded formal accreditation against the National Standards for Mental Health Services.<\/p>\n<p>The accreditation, determined by leading independent assessors Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP), is an important marker on our journey to deliver outstanding service to our clients &#8211; and validation of the way in which we put our clients at the centre of everything we do.<\/p>\n<p>Accreditation is independent recognition that Ruah meets the requirements of the national standards and follows a wide-ranging review across the organisation, including governance, communication,\u00a0corporate systems, quality of service delivery, teamwork and\u00a0relationship management.<\/p>\n<p>In a very positive report, the assessors said it was apparent that Ruah was an organisation totally committed to supporting clients to achieve positive outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRuah has a solid governance structure supported by an accomplished and well engaged Board. Recent years have seen substantial enhancement and refocussing of service delivery of which the new Model of Care Framework is an example.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRuah has been innovative in creating a Peer Framework that promotes a considered engagement of lived experience.<\/p>\n<p>Ruah CEO Debra Zanella paid tribute to the Ruah team saying, \u201cThe community can come to us confident that we offer high quality services and support in a safe environment, that we are respectful and understanding of differences, and that we constantly look for new and better ways to provide them with a positive experience and great outcomes.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ruah Community Services has been awarded formal accreditation against the National Standards for Mental Health Services.
