Ruah was proud to be Page Group’s nominated charity partner for their Women in Leadership Breakfast, where $5,000 was raised for the Ruah Centre for Women and Children.
The morning included an inspiring panel discussion of incredible women including Ruah’s Chairperson, Louise Ardagh, who shared:
“A society that gives and cares is a powerful society. We need to be committed to people who haven’t had the opportunities we’ve had”
Louise spoke about how lucky we were to be in a room where we could discuss how to succeed, whereas for many women in our own community – their reality is very different.
As the panel discussed the importance of lifting other women up, of unity, and giving back, we were grateful for the opportunity to talk about the impact that the Ruah Centre for Women and Children will bring to women who are experiencing family domestic violence.
