The Ruah team is kicking goals when it comes to complying with the recently announced mandatory vaccination requirements for health workers. All Tier 1 staff are now compliant and we are on track to have all Tier 2 staff compliant by the November deadline.
We’re also rolling up our sleeves to give WA’s COVID-19 vaccination rates a boost more generally, by hosting a series of popup clinics at the Ruah Centre and making it easy for people experiencing homelessness to get the jab.
Staff and clients alike have been taking advantage of the opportunity to protect themselves, their families, colleagues and friends by rolling up for their first and second jabs.
Although WA has successfully dodged the full impact of COVID-19 experienced in other States, our vaccination rates are lagging despite expert health advice that we can’t afford to be complacent to keep our community safe.
