Synergy Xmas Light Trail proudly supporting Ruah

Light up a life with the Synergy Xmas Lights Trail!

This iconic event has been spreading festive cheer and connecting communities for seven years, with residents decorating their homes for a good cause.

Synergy is again partnering with Ruah Community Services and will provide $10,000 for energy efficiency upgrades for Ruah crises services for women and children. For every house ‘check-in’ on the new interactive Xmas Lights Trail website, Synergy will donate $1 to Ruah.

This year, the Synergy Xmas Lights Trail will be bigger and brighter, with more than 250 households expected to take part.

Synergy CEO, David Fyfe, said the Synergy Xmas Lights Trail has been connecting the community to the best Christmas lights displays across WA since 2017.

“This initiative is not just about illuminating neighbourhoods, it’s about brightening lives and spreading hope this festive season.

“The partnership between Synergy and Ruah will support the more vulnerable members of our community who may be doing it tough this festive season.”

Ruah CEO, Debra Zanella, said the charity helps people in the WA community who are experiencing homelessness, family and domestic violence or mental health challenges.

“Donations from the Synergy Xmas Lights Trail will help Ruah provide support and the provision of essential services to the people who need it most,” Ms Zanella said.

“By taking part in the trail, people really can ‘light up a life.’

Registered houses have the chance to share in $6,000 worth of prizes across five categories, including People’s Choice – Solar and People’s Choice – Regional. There is also a visitor prize worth $500.

Visitors can build their trail and check in at the houses they view from Friday, November 24.
