After Hours Support Service
After Hours Support Service is a wrap-around support service available to people who have been housed, following sleeping rough and/or experiencing chronic homelessness to assist with the retention of housing and improvements in quality of life.
Delivered by Ruah and Homeless Healthcare, the service provides nursing and psychosocial support on evenings and weekends, to ensure that people have additional support available, when they need it.
Please note that referrals are from agencies only and eligibility applies. For further details please contact Ruah (13 RUAH) or [email protected]
Funding support is generously provided by the Sisters of St John of God and the WA Primary Health Alliance.
In 2020 After Hours Support Service was recognised as the winner of the Innovation for People Award at the inaugural Shelter WA Housing and Homelessness Awards.
The judges felt that this program addressed a clear, evidenced-based need that regularly results in people exiting housing into homelessness.
